Vietnamese badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh has received sponsorship from Japan’s Kawasaki group for his next ten tournaments.

Vietnamese athlete Nguyen Tien Minh has defended his 5th place in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings.

 Vietnam badminton prodigy Nguyen Tien Minh has been seeded fifth out of 32 competitors in the men’s singles at the 2013 YONEX Open Japan Super Series which is scheduled to take place in Tokyo from September 17-22.

This was an easy match for Minh as his underdog opponent had comparatively little international experience, never having ever reached the top one hundred world rankings.
